1. The Response Paper's that I wrote were as I best recalled them described orally only on the first day of class. ACTUALLY, THE REQUIREMENTS WERE MENTIONED IN CLASS TWICE AND THEY WERE PUBLISHED ON THE WEBSITE AS WELL (UNDER THE ASSIGNMENTS LINK). I ALSO MADE REFERENCE TO THIS PAGE IN CLASS TWICE. YOU MUST HAVE KNOWN THE REQUIREMENTS. IF NOT, HOW WOULD YOU HAVE KNOWN WHAT TO WRITE, IF YOU HADN'T VISITED THE PAGE ON THE WEBSITE, WHICH IS WHERE I INCLUDED THE QUESTIONS YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO ANSWER IN EACH RESPONSE PAPER. 2. Since I received no feedback on the length of my papers, I assumed they were fine. I attended every class, save one movie day and did not recall hearing anything regarding response paper length following the first day of class. You should have let us know if there was a problem during the semester. I'M SORRY, , BUT NO. YOUR GRADE IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED IF YOU WEREN'T SURE. THE VAST MAJORITY OF STUDENTS WROTE RESPONSE PAPERS THAT WERE ONE PAGE. IF YOU WERE INTERESTED IN YOUR GRADE, YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED. I WOULD HAVE BEEN GLAD TO DISCUSS IT WITH YOU. YOU APPARENTLY KNEW THAT THEY WEREN'T FIVE PAGES EACH BECAUSE ALL OF YOURS WERE NEARLY A HALF PAGE OR A PAGE. 3. I checked the syllabus and response paper requirements numerous times and showed it to you, I could not find anything mentioning length. If there was a written requirement it would be reasonable that the misunderstanding was my fault. THE REQUIREMENTS WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE SYLLABUS, BUT THEY WERE INCLUDED ON THE WEBSITE (UNDER THE ASSIGNMENTS LINK). I ALSO MADE REFERENCE TO THIS PAGE IN CLASS TWICE. AGAIN, YOU MUST HAVE KNOWN THE REQUIREMENTS. IF NOT, HOW WOULD YOU HAVE KNOWN WHAT TO WRITE, IF YOU HADN'T VISITED THE PAGE ON THE WEBSITE, WHICH IS WHERE I INCLUDED THE QUESTIONS YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO ANSWER AS WELL AS THE REQUIREMENTS. 4. My papers did utilize the entire page, often times running onto a second page. I believed that there was one page due each day. I indicated this to you that my "The Worthy" response papers did take up the entire page for the chapters assigned. This corroborates my claim that I was fulfilling the requirements as explained on the first day orally. YES, BUT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE EARLIER RESPONSE PAPERS.
