not get correct feedback. You told me I was doing good and my grade was
an A. Why did you tell me this if it was not true?

To answer your question, you were doing well at that point.
You received a high A on the midterm. When I tabulated the response
papers, however, I found many to be half a page.

There are two possible situations here:

1. You approved my coursework at midterms by acknowledging my A, meaning all subsequent work met requirements. Furthermore you told me I had an A at finals, meaning that all work completed to that point was an A and met the requirements in full.

2. You provided incorrect information, and you misled me negligently or intentionally.
